ResolvedI’m planning to take out a loan to buy a skid steer from Miller Heavy Equipment, but I’ve never dealt with them before. Before I move forward, I’d like to know if anyone here has bought from them in the past. How was your experience? Were they reliable, honest, and accurate with their equipment descriptions?
Any feedback would really help me make an informed decision. Thanks!

Best AnswerAccording to their website, Miller Heavy Equipment specializes in used and refurbished heavy equipment, with a particular focus on asphalt road-paving and related construction equipment. Their inventory reportedly includes things like asphalt pavers, chip spreaders, milling machines, asphalt distributors, and other paving-related equipment — as well as general construction / heavy-equipment gear from recognized manufacturers.Beyond domestic sales, Miller Heavy Equipment appears to have a history in exporting equipment, particularly to the Caribbean, Central and South America — which might be relevant if you consider export or cross-border needs.

My company usually deals in trucking equipment export but I had a regular client that wanted an asphalt sealer. After looking around Miami I got a Berkamp asphalt micro-sealer from these guys to export to the client in Bahamas. It was a good deal and was completely refurbished. The machine worked essentially like a new machine according to the client, but since it was 3 years old, it was much less than a new one from Bergkamp. Those machines are really costly new. The guy in charge over at Miller is well versed on each piece of equipment and seems like a square shooter. So far so good. Would consider them again20- June 27, 2025 at 2:38 pm

Horrible mobile service experience on my TL140. Service department doesnt clearly explain up front pre auth charges. Poorly managed dispatch team. Poor communication on arrival times. Then wanted to charge me $1300.00 dollars for 10 mins of diag time. Never again. Stay away30
